Elliot Kay

Year of call 2013


Elliot has been a tenant at Zenith Chambers since the successful completion of his pupillage in September 2014. As pupil to John Boumphrey and Elizabeth Darlington, Elliot gained experience in all areas of Chambers practice, with particular emphasis on personal injury, commercial/chancery and housing work.

During pupillage Elliot won the Louise Godfrey QC Memorial Moot and was awarded the North Eastern Circuit Prize for obtaining the highest mark on the BPTC. Elliot is a member of the Attorney General's C Panel of Junior Counsel.

Elliot is meticulous in his preparation and provides the highest quality service throughout. Elliot maintains a busy paper practice but can be relied upon to meet tight deadlines when required to do so. Elliot is approachable to both professional and lay clients alike.

In his free time Elliot is a keen sportsman and can often be found playing one sport or another. For reasons best known to him, Elliot continues to find the enthusiasm to follow the fortunes of Leeds United.
