Gerald practises exclusively in family law with a particular emphasis on public law and matrimonial finance cases.
After qualifying in medicine, Gerald transferred to the law and was called to the Bar in 1995. His medical knowledge is a particular advantage in cases where medical issues are to the fore and Gerald is regularly instructed in serious cases in which non-accidental injury is alleged.
Gerald enjoys his work and meeting his clients. He gives sound, realistic advice and will do his best whether by negotiation or by courtroom advocacy.

M v M – Gerald represented the husband in financial remedy proceedings in which capacity was an issue.
Re A - Gerald represented a parent against whom Factitious and Induced Illness was alleged.
D v D - Application to set a side the husband's gift to his daughter to defeat the wife's maintenance claims.
Re J - Application by family member to adopt a child in order to enable international relocation to New Zealand.
Gerald regularly speaks on new developments in family law, both at the "Wine and Wisdom" seminars and at the offices of instructing solicitors.
