John Holroyd

John is a qualified Chartered Civil Engineer, John Holroyd followed a substantial career in that field before being called to the Bar.  His background makes him ideally qualified for specialising in building and construction law.  He practised as a chartered civil engineer up until 1990, when he began to practise at the bar.

He specialises in all aspects of construction and planning law, and professional negligence of construction professionals. Extensive experience in the construction and technology court. Extensive experience of highway matters and water and other utilities. He regularly represents highway authorities and statutory undertakers. He is highly experienced in public inquiries relating to highways, statutory undertakers and planning matters. Very experienced in arbitration, adjudication and mediation. He also deal with rights of way disputes and boundary disputes and other land law matters.
