In addition, conducting conferences and hearings with clients for whom English is not the first language is a regular feature of Lewis’s diary. In particular, Lewis is regularly instructed to represent young and vulnerable parents as well as parents who present with learning difficulties. An early discussion with solicitors in order to tailor the best approach for a vulnerable client is always encouraged.
