Jasmine commenced a mixed common law pupillage in September 2016 and will gain experience in all of Chambers’ main practice areas, including a broad range of criminal and civil work. During her First Six, she was under the supervision of Geraldine Kelly, where she gained experience in a wide range of criminal cases involving the most serious offending. In her Second Six, Jasmine is supervised by Ruwena Khan.
Before undertaking pupillage, Jasmine was employed as a legal assistant to a leading personal injury silk. Many of the claims that she assisted with involved injuries of the most serious kind. Notable cases that Jasmine worked closely on include Vann v Ocidental-Companhia de Seguros S.A.  EWCA Civ 572 and Knauer v Ministry of Justice  UKSC 9.
Jasmine is the Barrister Representative on the Leeds Junior Lawyers Division Committee 2016/17. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, baking and going to the gym.
