‘Direct Access’ is the term used to enable members of the public to instruct a barrister direct for their case without the involvement of a solicitor. ‘Licensed Access’ is a similar scheme, but it relates to organisations.
We have a number of experienced barristers and mediators who can meet all of your needs to offer you an efficient, focussed, cost effective service.
We have a number of barristers specialising in different areas of law who can assist you with your case. We also have trained mediators who can provide a fast, cost-effective service to resolve domestic and commercial disputes without having to go to court. Mediators act as independent third parties to help in negotiations and assist towards the resolution of a dispute.
If you decide to instruct a barrister for your case, you have immediate access to a specialist barrister for your case. We’ll advise you about what your options are, and about wide ranging legal issues concerning your case. We can represent you in court proceedings and assist you with drafting court applications, letters to other parties or witness statements and help you to prepare for court hearings.
Represent you at court hearing with a barrister of your choice
Provide written advice to spell out what is likely to happen in your case
Arrange a face to face meeting to advise you what is likely to happen in your case
Help you with preparing documents for court
Negotiate on your behalf to reach agreement
We understand how important costs are to you. We will provide competitive, transparent prices for our quality advice and representation. There are no hidden fees, and no unexpected surprises resulting from cutting corners. We will often agree to a flat fee for representation at hearing or for a piece of written work.
This can lower your overall costs; barristers’ rates are often less than a solicitor. You can arrange with a barrister a bespoke package of assistance that meets your specific needs and keeps you in control of your expenditure at all times.
We look forward to receiving your enquiry; please fill out the enquiry form and email to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with an initial outline of your case and the assistance you need and any relevant documentation. Our clerking team respond to you with details of which barrister/s would be suitable for your case.
