The Final of the Zenith Chambers' sponsored Annual Mooting Competition for the BPP Law School took place on the 10th February 2010 at the Law School. This competiton was for all aspiring advocates at the BPP Law School.
For each round, participants were divided into teams of two, and had to present legal argument on a novel and challenging legal problem in a mock court setting. Two particpants were chosen by the Zenith Chambers' judges from each round, and three were selected as finalists.
Julian Goose QC, Head of Zenith Chambers, will Judge the Final together, with Matthew Donkin, Ruwena Khan, Stuart Jamieson, Jonathan Shaw, Michelle Stuart Loft-house, John-Paul Swoboda and Alfred Weiss being the judges for the earlier rounds.
Head of Zenith Chambers Julian Goose QC was delighted with the standard of this year's competitors, and thought any one of the four finalists would have been worthy winners in any other year of the competition, and indeed for the first time, it was such a close run competition that two winners were chosen: Ian Tucker and Jenni Harris.
