Marisa Allman specialises in all aspects of family case work
Marisa Allman has considerable experience of both financial settlement (on divorce/separation) and children work.
Marisa Allman has particular expertise in:
- Matrimonial and financial including:
- Issues of jurisdiction and validity of decree within and outside the EU;
- TOLATA;
- Schedule 1 of the Children Act; and
- Inheritance Act provision;

- Public Law Children
The list below describes sorts of cases in which Marisa Allman has been instructed:
- Representing numerous self-made businessmen in ancillary relief proceedings;
- Instructed on behalf of wives who are divorcing businessmen, farmers or sports personalities, and who know little about their former partner's financial affairs, and are concerned that assets may be hidden, dissipated or removed from the jurisdiction;
- Cases where property is owned collectively by family members, or the true position is not reflected by the legal title;
- Cases where there are assets out of the jurisdiction, or foreign orders to be considered
- Represented many people who do not have the mental capacity to instruct solicitors themselves, either temporarily or permanently, and their former partners in relation to both children and financial matters;
- Represented people whose children have been removed from the jurisdiction, or who fear their children may be removed from the jurisdiction, or who would like to take their children abroad for a holiday and whose ex-partner fears they may not return them.
