After many years working in Chambers, first at 9 Woodhouse Square and then for Zenith Chambers following the merger, Helen has decided to take a very early retirement (no, she is not 60!) and enjoy exploring a bit of the world with her partner David...

Helen has been senior clerk for Crime since the formation of Zenith Chambers, and joint Senior Clerk at 9 Woodhouse Square before that.

Liz Gage is to step into Helen's shoes, with Hayley Sanderson becoming the 1st Junior Crime , and the Office Junior Hannah Dempsey taking up the mantle of 2nd Junior Clerk Crime.

'We are very sad to see her go' said Rob Butchard the Practice Director, 'and she will be missed. I have really enjoyed working with Helen .. but wish her all the best for a long and happy retirement'.

Rob is of course to follow Helen into the big wide world when he retires at the end of March 2010 - and it has to be said, is somewhat envious of her earlier departure!!
