Notable Cases

P v MOJ (2012) - acted for the claimant in relation to injuries sustained in an accident at work which occurred while the claimant was working in the roof space of a warehouse. The issue to be determined was whether a redundant steel bracket in the roof space could constitute a reasonably foreseeable danger when employees would only rarely come into contact with it.

R v G (2012) - acted for the defendant and succeeded in reducing a significant claim for care and assistance on the basis of the claimant's pre-existing care needs as well as the exaggeration of the claim by the claimant's solicitors.

B v MOJ (2011) - representing a claimant in relation to injuries sustained during an attack by his prison cell-mate.

R v The Caravan Club (2011) - acted for the defendant and succeeded in defeating a claim for personal injuries following the claimant's slip on ice on the defendant's premises during a period of severe weather conditions.
