Jillian qualified as a Solicitor in 1991 working exclusively in family law. She was a member of Resolution (then the SFLA), the ALC and was appointed to the Children Panel.
Following her call to the bar in 2000 Jillian has built a reputation as a friendly and approachable family specialist. She is known for her ability to deal sympathetically with challenging clients including those with learning difficulties, young persons and from differing ethnic backgrounds.
Jillian’s practice covers representation of Local Authorities, children and parents in care proceedings in both the County Court and High Court and representation of parents, children and grandparents in private law cases. She has a particular interest in cases involving physical and sexual abuse and has been instructed in cases involving allegations of ritual or cultural abuse.
