Practice Summary
Kate is a specialist PI Practitioner. She has a busy practice acting on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in fast-track and multi-track cases. She has a particular interest in medical negligence, occupational stress. liability of animals, and injuries relating to children but is happy to accept instructions in all areas of personal injury law. She has a good grasp of Ogden 7 and calculating future losses. She also has a good understanding of fatal accident damages claims having recently presented a lectures series to trainee barristers on this topic.
She is an experienced court advocate whose recent experience includes training new practitioners, pupils and trainee barristers as well as a busy court practice in family and crime early on in her career. She is a persuasive paper advocate who is known for her attention to detail whether it be formal pleadings or written advices.
