Sobia joined Chambers in January 2011 after working for the Crime Prosecution Service as a Senior Crown Prosecutor, since her call in 2007.
Sobia graduated from University College London in 2006 with a LLB Law (Hons). After University, Sobia completed the Bar Vocational at the Inns of Court School of Law in 2007.
Before beginning her pupillage, Sobia did a range of voluntary work, including working as a Casework Assistant for the CPS, London Central Criminal Trial Unit and worked for the Free Representation Unit, London, instructed in employment tribunal cases.
Sobia has trained in Advocacy, Youth Courts and Sentencing, Charging advice and indictment whilst employed by the CPS.
