Vilma practices across the entire spectrum of personal injury work including public and employer's liability, occupier's liability, holiday claims, sports law claims, road traffic litigation including credit hire claims, and industrial disease.
Vilma regularly undertakes both fast and multi-track court work as well as all aspects of drafting and advisory work. She regularly acts for both Claimants and Defendants as well as accepting instructions on a CFA basis, where appropriate.
Vilma has extensive experience of dealing with credit hire litigation, acting predominantly for claimants but also acting for defendant insurers. She regularly lectures on this subject and provides updates on recent developments.
She also lectures on a number of other personal injury topics. More recently, Vilma has given talks on Road Traffic Claims - the New Regime, procedural matters, Maximising general and special damages, and an update on Industrial Deafness.
