We are delighted to announce that Lucy Sowden has taken up the offer of a tenancy with Zenith Chambers following the very successful completion of her pupillage. Lucy's practise covers all areas of family law, including private children, public children and ancillary relief and she has a special interest in public children work.

Prior to joining Zenith Chambers, Lucy spent three years as a legal assistant for Calderdale MBC, concentrating solely on care proceedings and private children work. She has also spent 5 months working with Kirklees MBC appearing in the Family Proceedings Courts and County Courts in care proceedings and private children matters.

Lucy joins a thriving and busy family law team comprising 21 barristers, many of whom (like Lucy) had a legal career elsewhere prior to joining Chambers. The team's considerable experience and expertise makes them a popular choice with family law practitioners.
