12th edition of Munkman on Damages written by Zenith member Gordon Exall, with a preface by Zenith’s head of chambers Julian Goose, is out now.
The book provides a comprehensive guide to the law of damages arising from injury and death. For 55 years it has been one of the standard texts on damages.
The first 10 editions were written by John Munkman a barrister and a tenant at 10 Park Square . In his will he asked that Gordon Exall be responsible for writing the book. Gordon wrote the 11th edition in 2003 and the latest edition was published earlier this month.
The book has new chapters on future loss of earnings claims; accommodation costs; damages for shortened life expectancy and periodical payments. It remains one of the most comprehensive and succinct guides to this area of law.
