The case of Mrs. Ilott (Ilott -v- Mitson [2011] EWCA Civ 346, [2011] 2 FCR 1) did not make any great change in the law. But it is important and will affect all solicitors dealing with wills, and indeed advising their clients about claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 where there are adult children.
