Zenith Chambers once again sponsored the BPP Law School’s mooting competition this year. The four finalists and other students attended a reception in chambers with a number of barristers. The winner was Joseph Bird. He was presented with the trophy together with his prize money by our Head of Chambers, Julian Goose QC, who also judged the final.
“The standard of mooting is always high at BPP,” said Julian, “but this year has been particularly good. Mooting is great experience for students planning a career at the Bar – especially when you are obliged to argue from the weaker position.”
Chambers will continue its association with the Law School and will be using their principal seminar room for this year’s Munkman Lecture in the autumn.
