Zenith's 10 for 10!

Zenith's 10 for 10!

Zenith Chambers is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year and to mark the occasion, they are planning 10 charitable events to raise £10,000 for a variety of charities.

Following the merger of 10 Park Square and 9 Woodhouse Square, in March 2001, Zenith Chambers was formed – a team of barristers and staff who realise the importance of developing strong relationships within the legal community and in particular, across Yorkshire and Humberside.

The charitable events include barristers and staff taking part in the Great North Swim in Lake Windermere, ‘Beat the Barrister’ pub quiz and charity auction, a team for the Dragon Boat Race at Roundhay Park, Leeds, and numerous 10k runs including the Abbey Dash and the Leeds 10k. The anniversary year will culminate in a celebratory ‘Decade Masquerade’ party in December.

Natalie Rodgers, Marketing Director, Zenith Chambers, commented:

“We wanted to do something meaningful to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and raising money for a variety of charities is the perfect way to do this.”

Zenith has developed at a remarkable pace and offers an outstanding quality of service across key practice areas including Commercial Law, Crime, Family, Housing and Personal Injury, as well as developing sub-groups such as Construction Law, Employment and Courts Martial amongst others.

The triumphant merger and subsequent success was marked by the appointment of a Chief Executive, Andrew Argyle – a Chambers first on the North Eastern Circuit – and last year having a record number of barristers appointed as Deputy District Judges, a total of six from Zenith Chambers.

Julian Goose QC, Head of Chambers, commented:
Over the last 10 years we have made it our priority to always deliver the best possible level of service and legal representation. We would like to thank all of our clients for supporting us over the years and look forward to working closely together in the future.”
