Personal Injury

Having been supervised by Justin Crossley during the second part of his pupillage, Peter has a growing personal injury practice.

Peter acts for both claimants and defendants and has appeared in a range of interlocutory and final hearings. In addition to conducting a large number of small claims trials, Peter has acted in case management and summary judgment hearings on the fast and multi tracks. 

His workload includes;

  • RTAs 
  • Employers’ liability
  • Occupiers’ liability 
  • Highways Act cases

In addition to court work, Peter has a busy paper-based practice. He is available to advise on liability and quantum and to draft statements of case.

Peter has extensive experience of acting in credit hire cases, both for Claimants and Defendants. He is regularly instructed in small claim and fast track matters. He is familiar with the full range of credit hire matters, including enforceability, impecuniosity, basic hire rates and collision damage waivers. Peter also advises in writing on credit hire issues. Peter has also provided training and updates to solicitors on credit hire matters.
